*What is APA?
The charter fee generally covers only the hire of the yacht and crew, all other expenses are in addition to the charter fee. These additional expenses are covered by the Advance Provisioning Allowance.

The APA is usually 30% of the charter fee (sometimes 35% if the yacht burns a lot of fuel or if you intend to do more than about 4 hours of cruising per day).
The APA covers the cost of fuel, food, wines and liquors, dockage, communications, etc. Any APA not used will be returned to you at the end of the charter as you leave. On the other hand, if expenses exceed the APA (maybe excessive cruising so high fuel costs, requests of rare liquors, etc.) you will be expected to reimburse the yacht as you leave the charter. This is rare but you need to be aware of this possible expense.

Ferretti 780 – Proven luxury

24 m Ferretti 780, named Orlando L, is one of the pearls in Croatian charter fleet. The main features of this superb yacht are innovative layout, superstructure with open lounge from bow to stern, furniture and interior elements of teak, the most modern technology and multimedia kit.

At a length of 24 meters the Ferretti 780 is characterized by a completely innovative layout considering its internal details that guarantee ample space. It also presents refined finishes in teak wood compared to the traditional cherry wood that is normally adopted for a yacht of such dimensions. The design decision to integrate the access ladder to the flybridge within the wall structure of the yacht offers a continual visual solution from the rear deck facing the bow- thus enlarging the space dedicated to the conversation area featuring double sofas of contemporary design. Light colored finishes highlight the spirit of the boat, while large window structures allow to live in close contact with the sea, rendering the master cabin and the bathroom area an environment of great elegance to enjoy in full contact with the sea. Thanks to the introduction of the rear garage covered in teak the 780 offers many opportunities to take advantage of the open space, facilitating an easy descent into the sea.

Below the deck are 4 main cabins, one master cabin up front, one VIP cabin in the aft, and two twin cabins in between. The fly bridge includes two spacious sunbathing areas, a BBQ, table and a comfortable seating area. On the aft is the sunbathing area which is also covered with teak.

One testimonial letter from our clients, season 2013:

Jennifer described her charter as “…fabulous….amazing…we had a wonderful time…”  She then went on to say “…how special Leo and his crew were…”  This is a comment I will always remember, and Leo, you should be proud of this comment.  To be considered as “special” is a rare quality that not many crew achieve.  Jennifer defined your special qualities, to say that you run a strict ship, which is a good aspect in her eyes because it gave them the feeling of safety and confidence in your abilities.  She felt you were conservative in your character, that you handled your crew with wonderful decorum, and were quite simply a lovely person.

The family loved Ivan and felt that he was an amazing chef.  Ivanna had everyone spoiled.  Jennifer also appreciated Boris, whom she mentioned had a good relationship with you.  Jennifer commented on his professionalism, and the fact that her girls thought he was handsome and fit (smile)!

All in all, the family had a great charter!  Everything worked out perfect!

Thank you again and again Leo for making the Arbanas trip flow so smoothly…it is not an easy job.  A lot of careful detail and attention goes into creating these types of vacations, and I hope you will tell your crew how much I appreciate their efforts.  I also hope that I will have another opportunity to work with you and your team.  It would be a great pleasure for me!  I always enjoy working with lovely people, and you are high on my list! “
